Born in Lisbon, raised in Germany, and now based in Boston, Márcia Miranda is the founder and senior interior designer of Maison Lalopa. She graduated with a bachelor's degree in Spatial Design at the AMD (Akademie für Mode & Design, Hamburg, Germany). After exploring the design industry as a former Lead In Home Stylist at West Elm Fenway and an Architectural Application Specialist at “Filzfelt” (the popular Knoll sub-brand), she gained an array of expertise giving her the backbone to carve her own path as a freelance Spatial Designer (Interior Designer) demonstrating proficiency in the creating design concepts, in project management and execution while working across different departments.
Having lived in such contrasting places and through her travels as a musician she was sensitized and exposed to a broad range of aesthetics and cultures. She further uses her affinity for and expertise in design and decor and tailors it to the projects at hand sourcing from her creative pool as a global citizen.
At Maison Lalopa the focus is on offering a wide spectrum of services ranging from the boutique experience to remote e-design, to shopping assistance and consultations.
